The primary goal is to ensure that, upon successful completion, candidates can demonstrate a clear understanding and capability to operate level crossing barriers correctly as per the Network Rail Rule Book. Additionally, attendees will refresh their knowledge regarding the responsibilities of a Points Operator in line with the pertinent Network Rail Handbook.
Candidates should be those who are nearing the expiry of their current AOD Level Crossing Attendant competence or are Points Operators on Network Rail’s infrastructure desiring recertification.
When applicable, once you successfully complete your course or assessment, a member of our staff will update your competency in the Sentinel system. You can order your Sentinel smart cards directly from Sentinel at www.railsentinel.co.uk. Please note that this will incur an additional cost which you will be responsible for covering.
