Drug and Alcohol On-site Testing

Course Type: Class

Duration: 15 minutes

Cost : £ per delegate

Aims

D&A and Medical screenings are available to any employer within the UK, with a team of fully qualified and professional staff led by our in-house Occupational Health Nurse. We can also provide this service to the Network Rail Standard, where the alcohol limits set by the Railway Group Standard differ from those set by the Government. The rail sector in particular has a zero-tolerance approach to working under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and so all personnel employed to work on the Network Rail Infrastructure are subject to a Drugs and Alcohol Screening before gaining a primary sponsor, as well as random tests throughout their employment. Working in an environment that prioritises safety, means it is essential that the highest standards are carried out by all staff working near the running line, supporting the lifesaving rule ‘Never work or drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol’.Our on site testing is catered to employers who may have a large pool of Drugs and Alcohol test, which need to be carried out on their staff, on site. Our specialist Drugs and Alcohol Collectors are trained to use the following Drugs and Alcohol testing methods:? Oral Swab Test ? Urine Test? Fingerprint TestingAll results will be uploaded onto Sentinel.

Summary

Upon successful completion, your new competency will be uploaded to Sentinel by our nurse. Sentinel smart cards are ordered directly from Sentinel at www.railsentinel.co.uk (at your own cost).
