Our certified assessors will evaluate your performance in your role as a Nominated Person. This ensures you execute your duties safely, professionally, and in line with the required standards. The assessment will cover your understanding of the risks associated with working near the overhead line system, your ability to interpret OLE designs, and your familiarity with reading wiring instructions. The primary goal is to confirm that you are working safely, are fully compliant, and are updated with the latest guidelines and advice.

Aims & Objectives

The course aims to guarantee that individuals who undertake Nominated Person tasks on railway infrastructure do so safely and in accordance with current legislation and standards.

Requirements

Participants must demonstrate their skills and knowledge as a Nominated Person. This includes understanding the risks of the overhead line system, interpreting OLE designs, and reading wiring instructions. Furthermore, they should be up-to-date with the latest safety guidelines and advice.

Course Completion and Sentinel Upload

On Completion

When applicable, once you successfully complete your course or assessment, a member of our staff will update your competency in the Sentinel system. You can order your Sentinel smart cards directly from Sentinel at www.railsentinel.co.uk. Please note that this will incur an additional cost which you will be responsible for covering.
