Team Auctus completed the Pedal To Paris 2021 challenge on Sunday 6th September 2021. The team included Richard Toy, Sean Harrison, Andrew Coates, John Handley, Martin Benson, Simon Capper, Graham Talbot, John McDonough, Steve Broadfield and Ryan Spence.
The premier cycling event was hosted by The Royal British Legion charity, to coincide with their 100 years of supporting the Armed Forces Community, and the 25th annual Pedal To Paris fundraising event.
The team cycled from London to Paris on a four-day charity bike ride, raising essential funds towards The Royal British Legion charities Poppy Appeal. As proud Armed Forces Gold Covenant Award members, Auctus Management Group, and its subsidiary members, work in partnership with schemes that help ex-forces members transition into a new and progressive career, that matches the skills and attributes they have developed. With the growing skills shortage, the company collaborates with the UK’s Ministry of Defence to give people leaving the Armed Forces the chance to retrain and build a successful career within the rail and infrastructure sector.
The team’s jersey will be manufactured by KALAS, a leading proprietary manufacturer and distributor of custom cycling apparel in Central and Northern Europe. Born 25 years ago out of a passion for cycling, the company has a rich cycling heritage and prides itself on top quality, product innovation and outstanding customer service. World Champions, Olympic Winners, National Teams, many other Professional Teams and thousands of recreational cyclists in many countries worldwide proudly wear KALAS.
A total of 24 companies sponsored the ‘Team Auctus’ 2021 team jersey, consisting of many repeat clients and suppliers. For more information about them, read the ‘Team Auctus Unveil Official Cycling Team Jersey and Sponsors’ press release here.
