Life Before INFRA Skills

Stacey’s journey began in 2012 when she qualified as a registered adult nurse. Her first role as an Occupational Health Nurse at Jaguar Land Rover kick-started her career. During this time, Stacey pursued further education, earning a University Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health. She then ventured into the NHS as a renal dialysis nurse before returning to her passion in Occupational Health.

Joining INFRA Skills

Stacey’s dedication and experience in remote Occupational Health services caught INFRA Skills’ attention. After working with a prominent OH provider, she seized the opportunity to work with INFRA Skills. Since then, Stacey has been an integral part of the team for over two years.

Rail and Civils Sectors

Although Stacey had not previously worked in the rail sector, she had extensive experience providing remote OH services in the construction industry. This knowledge and expertise allowed her to seamlessly transition into her role at INFRA Skills.

Role and Responsibilities at INFRA Skills

As the sole Occupational Health Nurse at INFRA Skills, Stacey plays a crucial role in delivering PTS Medicals and coordinating with the responsible authorising physician. She has also trained her colleagues in Drug & Alcohol testing to meet Network Rail standards. Stacey ensures compliance with annual RISQ audits and facilitates medical self-declaration forms, providing advice on reasonable adjustments.

Future Plans and INFRA Skills

Looking ahead, INFRA Skills aims to expand its Occupational Health department to deliver safe, effective, and quality services. Stacey’s involvement in training courses and her utilization of previous skills and knowledge will contribute to the successful implementation of these services.
