Throughout the duration of this programme, our highly skilled and experienced trainers will assist you in obtaining a variety of qualifications to begin a career in Rail or Construction. For a total of three weeks, Monday through Friday, you will be needed to work at our Training Centre with Specialist Rail Training Area in Aston, Birmingham, from 8.30 a.m. to 16.30 p.m. The Adult Education Budget (AEB) of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is being used to fund this programme, which aims to prepare adults for work, upskill current employees, and provide specialist training.
Our Funded Learning programme is divided into two phases and is spread out over 15 days. CSCS Level 1 Health and Safety, Emergency First Aid at Work, Manual Handling, and Fire Awareness are covered in Phase 1 (5 days). The course will cover the essentials to start a career in Rail or Construction.
